Our Story
Mijaurie began with a simple frustration — and a lifelong love of beautiful things.
Our founder, Khushali Parakh Ahuja, spent her career as an architect and furniture designer, creating objects and spaces defined by proportion, colour, and detail. Yet every visit to a stationery store told the same story: rows of mass-produced shagun envelopes, printed without care, designed without thought. Even the stationery for her own wedding — a moment meant to be unforgettable — lacked the artistry she had always imagined.
That moment became a turning point. Khushali left architecture and furniture design behind to build something of her own: a brand that treats paper not as packaging, but as a keepsake. A brand where an envelope isn't just something you hand over — it's part of the gift itself.
Mijaurie is that brand.
The Name
Mijaurie is a marriage of two words: "Mi" — me — and "Jauhari", the Hindi word for a connoisseur with a discerning eye. Traditionally, a jauhari is a jeweller: someone who can hold a stone to the light and instantly know its worth.
We bring that same eye to paper.
Mijaurie means, quite simply, "I am the jauhari of paper." It's a promise that every design, every foil detail, and every fold has been examined, refined, and perfected before it reaches your hands.

Craft always. We print on premium papers and finish our pieces with real gold foil at our own family-run printing setup in Nagpur. Because we control every stage of production ourselves, nothing leaves our studio unless it meets the jauhari's standard.
