Refund & Return Policy

At Mijaurie, every piece is made to order, especially for you. From the paper we print on to the gold foil that carries your name, your order comes to life only after you place it. Because of this, we operate a little differently from stores that sell off-the-shelf stock — and we've written this policy to be as clear and fair as possible.

1. No Returns or Exchanges on Made-to-Order Products

As all Mijaurie products are made to order — and many are personalised with names, initials, or custom details — we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or any reason other than damage or a manufacturing defect.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Personalised shagun envelopes, gift tags, foldcards, and mini folds
  • Non-personalised items, which are also printed and finished only after you order
  • Items ordered in the wrong quantity, colour, or design by the customer
  • Personalisation errors resulting from incorrect details (e.g., name spellings) submitted by the customer at the time of ordering

We therefore request you to double-check your personalisation details, spellings, and quantities carefully before confirming your order. Once an order goes into production, changes cannot be made.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

We pack every order with great care, but if your order arrives damaged or with a genuine manufacturing defect, we will absolutely make it right.

The Unboxing Video Requirement — Important

To be eligible for a replacement or refund on a damaged/defective item, you must provide a clear, uncut unboxing video of the package — starting before the outer packaging is opened and showing the damage/defect as it is discovered.

Please note: claims without an unboxing video cannot be accepted, even if the product is genuinely damaged. This is a strict, non-negotiable requirement, as it is our only way to verify transit damage. We recommend recording an unboxing video for every Mijaurie order as a habit.

How to Raise a Claim

  1. Record your uncut unboxing video as you open the package.
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery via email at mijauridesigns@gmail.com or WhatsApp at +91 92703 09660, with your order number, the unboxing video, and photos of the damage/defect.
  3. Our team will review your claim and respond within 2–3 working days.

If Your Claim Is Approved

  • Return shipping is on us. Mijaurie will bear the cost of return shipping for approved damage/defect claims — we will arrange or reimburse the pickup, so you are never out of pocket.
  • Items must be sent back unused and in their original packaging, with all components included.
  • Depending on your preference and product availability, we will either remake and reship your item or issue a refund as described below.

3. Refunds — Store Credit

Approved refunds are issued in the form of Mijaurie store credit, which:

  • Is equal to the full value of the affected item(s)
  • Is valid for one (1) year from the date of issue
  • Can be used on any product across our store

Store credit is processed within 3–4 working days of your claim being approved (or, where a return of the item is required, within 3–4 working days of the returned item reaching us).

Please note we do not offer refunds to the original payment method; all approved refunds are provided as store credit.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return, Exchange, or Refund

  • Products damaged due to mishandling, moisture, or improper storage after delivery
  • Natural variations in handcrafted products — slight differences in colour, foil placement, or texture are characteristics of handmade paper goods, not defects
  • Orders where personalisation details were submitted incorrectly by the customer
  • Claims raised without an unboxing video, or raised after the claim window has passed
  • Sale or promotional items marked as final sale

5. Order Cancellations

Because production begins soon after your order is placed, cancellations are only possible within 12 hours of placing the order, and only if production has not yet begun. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately on WhatsApp at +91 92703 09660 with your order number.
